Welcome to Bass-Jon's of Virginia!

To all local Virginia small boat Bass Fishermen. This Web Site caters to the needs of the Jon-Boat/9.9 HP Bass Fishermen. The areas affected would be in the vicinity of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News, Suffolk and on up to Richmond or for those who love to fish the Hampton Roads area freshwater/reservoirs.  There is a wealth of Bass Fishing knowledge within our local fishing community where we are openly willing to share that knowledge with other angler's as well as open to listen to any information given; provided that it's legitimate and of good taste.

Bass-Jon's is also the name of our club. Our annual dues are $25, with tournament costs of $5 per event which goes into the Lunker pot for a 100% payback. We have a full tournament schedule of 16 events and one Club Classic scheduled. Bass Jon's is designed from the ground up to be more about fun and a learning tool so that we can all be better bass fishermen.  We are looking for both Boaters and Non-Boaters. Everyone is welcome male/female; family members are encouraged as Non-Boaters. If you're interested please contact me, VICTOR LOPEZ, at 757-488-2752 and leave a message on the answering machine and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.  Or I can be reached via e-mail at Bassjons1@yahoo.com or Victor@bassjons.com for further information.

The Web Site supports Bass-Jon's and its club members, the "Hampton Roads Bass Fishing Resource" Web Site and the local fishing community.  It is the intention of Bass Jon's to act as a source of information for all Virginian's fishing the local area waters. Our members, and visitors, write articles and post bullets for the Latest Buzz, Message-Chat Room, Fishing Reports, Product Review, or anything that pertains to fishing these local waters. This allows our area anglers a view that is targeted specifically on our local waters and not some lake on one of the Bass Pro Tour's.  Our Web Site is designed to keep you knowledgeable and informed of local events and fishing tips.  Bass-Jon's and its staff will make every effort to keep this site as current as possible.

If anyone wishes to write an article or has information he/she wishes to share for the Bass-Jon's website, please send it to the above e-mail. Our Mission is to have fun, fish, and "SHARE the KNOWLEDGE".

A little back ground on our name Bass-Jon's. Well Bass comes from our passion of bass-fishing. Jon comes from the primary type of boat we use on the HP restricted reservoirs.. Hence the name Bass-Jon's.
