Well it was very windy and rain throughout the entire day except for the weigh in. Winds were gusting in the 35- to 40 mph. Water temps were recorded between 55 - 59 degrees, depending on your location. There had been 18 boats scheduled to attend, however only 14 boats dared to challenge the weather conditions that they would have to face. As with most tournaments in the Month of March this year, it was a tough day on the water for anglers. There was only one limit brought to the scales, but every team, except one brought in at least one fish. Fish were caught on a variety of lures; the Lunker of the Day was landed on a Spinnerbait. The rest of the fish came on Pig & Jigs, numerous types of soft plastics and crankbaits. To the surprise of some anglers, it was reported that several of the fish caught had come off of beds. That being said, “It’s on....” It almost seemed as if Jim Carlson was going to make it three tournaments in a row, but the team of Dave Evans & Jerry Patterson managed to take put a stop to that, taking 1st Place and Lunker for the day. Water temps were recorded between 55 - 59 degrees, depending on your location. As with most tournaments in the Month of March this year, it was a tough day on the water for anglers. There was only one limit brought to the scales, but every team, except one brought in at least one fish.

Fish were caught on a variety of lures; the Lunker of the Day was landed on a Spinnerbait. The rest of the fish came on Pig & Jigs, numerous types of soft plastics and crankbaits.
