Can you say WINDY? Wind, wind, and more wind! And just when you thought it couldn’t blow any harder, it blew TWICE as hard! It blew and blew and blew, all day long. At least the Air Temps weren’t too bad and anglers still managed to bring in some fish today. The water temps ranged anywhere from 55- to 60-degrees throughout the day. It seems as if the bass are ready to hit the beds any day now and some anglers reported seeing fish on beds and some even catching a few of them. Congratulations to the team of Rob Uzzle & Mike Cherry who managed to bring a 5 fish limit good enough for 1st Place. They reported catching their fish on Crankbaits early and switched over to Senko’s later in the day. The 2nd Place spot went to James Osby & Morse Johnson who only managed to catch a couple of fish using Jigs, “But they were nice fish!” They also had a hefty 6lber which was good enough for the Lunker Award. Keith Lynch placed 3rd with a 4 fish bag of fatties; tube baits worked for him today. Way to go guys! Click on the link below for the full field of results…

It seems as if the bass are ready to hit the beds any day now and some anglers reported seeing fish on beds and some even catching a few of them.
