Tournament Report by Bob Bullen
The classic turned out great, the weather was warm and bit wind at times. The air temp in the mid-70s and the water temp right at 60-degrees. There were only 8 teams fishing the Bass Jons 2005 Classic Event. The fish were at least biting and 5 teams brought limits to the scales. Jerry Patterson & Scott Waterman won the Classic with 10lbs 8oz using Senko’s around lay-downs in the sun, particularly when the wind was blowing the hardest. Lots of soft plastics were used, but spinner-baits and crankbaits still produced. This was a great ending to the 2005 season and for Bass-Jon’s 5th Season. We handed out our Lunker of the Year award to Jim Carlson with his 8lbs 8oz Hawg caught in the first tourney of the year. Matt Whitwell was named Bass-Jon’s Angler of the Year. We also presented a hat to Neal Robinson who runs the Boot’Legg Web Site and Trail, for his support and service to both Bass-Jon’s and Boot’Legg. Below are the Bass Jons Tournament Results & Photos.

   The classic turned out great, the weather was warm and bit wind at times. The air temp in the mid-70s and the water temp right    at 60-degrees. There were only 8 teams fishing the Bass Jons 2005 Classic Event.

   The fish were at least biting and 5 teams brought limits to the scales. Jerry Patterson & Scott Waterman won the Classic with    10lbs 8oz using Senko’s around lay-downs in the sun, particularly when the wind was blowing the hardest.
