Well it was a tough day of fishing for the Bass Jons Club. First off, NO limits were brought to the scales; if you had two fish you were doing something. It was windy, bluebird skies and was it ever hot; easily into the mid-90s. The conditions varied with the wind throughout the day, Water Temps started at 80-degrees and rose up to 84-degrees. Bass Jons has accomplished a first ever; a tournament that took a single fish that not only put the team in 1st Place, but also Lunker of the Day. The few fish that were caught had reports of a couple taken on topwater, cranks and the rest on some sort of soft plastic. The sunfish, yellow perch were very active; looks like that time of the year to get some red wrigglers and crickets, then get the kids out on the water and let them have a ball.
