RULE 9 CLUB EVENT

Today’s event had slightly overcast skies early in the morning, but soon burned off as the sun came up, making for a hot day of fishing. It was smokin’ and humid, which seemed to have had a strange effect on a few of our anglers.....it seemed to make several of them just "fall" right out of their boats and in the water. The team of Sam North & Russ Hall took 1st Place in back-to-back events, sporting a fat 17lbs 11oz; catching fish predominantly on topwater Rico’s throughout the day. Again, they didn’t get a lot of bites, but the ones they did get were a bunch of fatties. They also took Big Fish Honors for the day bringing in a 5lber. The 2nd spot went to Rob Dunn & Gary Tate with nearly 12lbs. They reported catching their load using worms. Our 3rd Place position went to Brad Webb & Mike Schneider; caught mostly using topwater lures as well. Check out the results page and the photo gallery for more on this tournament.
