RULE 9 CLUB EVENT

Unlike most of the Spring tournaments this year, it didn’t rain on the Anglers; instead it was warm and humid. Air Temps were in the mid to upper 80's with hardly a breeze to be found; a rarity for this reservoir when the wind isn’t blowing all day long. Anglers caught a lot of fish today; mostly in the 13" to 14" range and there were still a few late spawners to be had. Mike Cherry & Rob Uzzle managed to catch the days winning stringer on a variety of lures. Topwater early and worms later in the day. Their winning weight tipped the scales off at 11lbs 8oz. The 2nd Place spot went to the team of Dave Buchanan & Mike Schneider who came in with a 5 fish limit of 10lbs 15oz; their pattern was basically the same. Once again, 3rd Place went to Keith Lynch...AGAIN...his fifth consecutive 3rd Place finish. This has allowed Keith to take the lead for the Clubs Angler of the Year Standings by a single point. Big Fish went to the team of Sal Degyves & Colman McElroy which went 4lbs 9oz; taken on a lizard. Check out the results page and the photo gallery for more on this tournament.
