Well it didn’t rain today, like most of the previous events and it seems like it is official, Summer Time is hear. Air Temps reached into the high 80’s to the low 90’s and with the sun blazing down it felt worse; even with a slight breeze in the air. Water Temps started out around 77-degrees this morning and rose as the day got warmer. This event attracted 19 Club Teams to compete for the day. The weights brought in weren’t bad, considering the weather conditions. The lures of choice for the day – Senkos, Flukes & Worms. Strangely enough, most of the bigger fish were caught near the end of the day. According to Bob Bullen, “Just goes to show, fish to the last possible minute.” The immortal words of Mike Icconelli, “NEVER GIVE UP…AAAGGGHHHH…NEVER GIVE UP!!!” Jesse Munden caught the tournaments Lunker of the Day with 20 minutes to spare; also Matt Whitwell had a similar story catching his lunker fish with only 30 minutes left to fish.    Well it didn’t rain today, like most of the previous events and it seems like it is official, Summer Time is hear. Air Temps    reached into the high 80’s to the low 90’s and with the sun blazing down it felt worse; even with a slight breeze in the air.    Water Temps started out around 77-degrees this morning and rose as the day got warmer.
