Tournament Report
Well it was a beautiful day with the Air Temps reaching in the high 50's and reports from Club Anglers had Water Temps ranging anywhere from 52-degrees to 55-degrees up in the day. The tournament event brought together 12 teams and although a great day for Anglers, the fishing proved to be a bit more tough. There were no real patterns or techniques to speak of. Anglers stated that fish were caught on a variety of lures; Jig'N Pigs, Crankbaits, Spinnerbaits and other lures. Jim Carlson not only won his second tournament of the season for Bass Jons, he did it in back-to-back fashion. In the first tournament he won, he used a Silver Buddy. Well on that day, there was a tough bite and on this day, the bite wasn't any different, so he went back to his Buddy...the Silver Buddy. Following close behind in 2nd Place were the father and daughter team of Jeff & Katie Kessler who used a Senko style lure. Here are the Bass Jons Tournament Results for the entire field...
