What a beautiful day on the water. Air temps in the 70's, wind blowing out of the East around 5 to 10 mph. Sunny to partly cloudy skies & water temps 73-degrees. Getting bass to bite was another story altogether. We had 11 boats for the tourney with only one limit brought to the scale and six teams with fish. Spinnerbaits and Crankbaits are gaining favor with the bass as downsized plastics for this tourney anyway. Mike Cooper and his Father-in-Law “Bill” took first place with 12.10 lbs not bad with just four fish. Jerry Patterson and John Cook took Lunker honors with a nice 4.08 lb Hawg.
