Tournament Report

There wasn't a report applied, but there were 10 limits brought in, out of 19 teams; all teams weighed in fish, except for 2 of them.  There was a Total Tournament catch of 72 fish and more dead than we cared for - 5 total.  There was a total tournament weight of 163.51lbs, which was pretty impressive considering this being Lake Meade.  Also, this was good enough to break into the Boot'Legg Trails Top 5 Tournament weights and also topped the most weighed weighed on Lake Meade for the Trail.

James Williams & Gene North are very familiar with winning tournaments and today was no different; not only are they winning several events through the years with the Boot'Legg Trail, this marks their 14th win with the Trail and they hold the Top 3 winning weights for Lake Meade and 5 tournament wins on Lake Meade alone.  Steve Plude & Jack Davis placed 2nd and having only fished 4 of the 6 tournaments in 2008, they have managed a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place finish; not bad.  Sam North & Russ Hall have yet to win a tournament with the Boot'Legg Trail, but they managed another Top 5 finish today, pulling in 3rd spot, to include Big Fish Honors.  Brian & Joey Hollis were able to break into a Top 5 finish this year taking 4th Place.  Rounding out the 5th spot, and no surprise to being near the top, were Bobby Kinsey & Randy Broughman.
